How PnL, volume and Sharpe are measured
- PnL
- Change in account equity over the hackathon, excluding deposits and top-ups.
- Volume
- Filled notional, measured per UTC day: each volume prize goes to the highest volume in a single UTC day. Taker volume counts your orders that took liquidity; maker volume counts your resting orders that were filled.
- Sharpe ratio
- Annualized Sharpe ratio of the account’s hourly returns during the competition window: their mean divided by their standard deviation, multiplied by √8760. No risk-free rate. An account needs at least 24 hours of hourly returns with non-zero variance to qualify for a trading prize.
